Here's a detailed recipe for making Coffee ice cream using brewed coffee or espresso:

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brewed coffee or espresso, cooled to room temperature
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules (optional, for extra flavor)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:

Prepare the Base:
In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Heat it until it just begins to steam, but do not let it boil.

Add Coffee Flavor:
Stir in the brewed coffee or espresso until well combined. If you want a stronger coffee flavor, you can also add instant coffee granules at this stage. Taste the mixture and adjust the amount of coffee to your preference.

Infuse the Mixture: Let the mixture simmer gently over low heat for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Chill the Mixture: Once cooled, stir in the vanilla extract. Transfer the mixture to a clean bowl and cover it with plastic wrap, pressing the wrap directly onto the surface of the mixture to prevent a skin from forming. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until thoroughly chilled.

Churn the Mixture: After chilling, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freeze: Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container, cover it with a lid or plastic wrap, and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until firm.

Serve:
When ready to serve, scoop the Coffee ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy!

This homemade Coffee ice cream is rich and creamy with a bold coffee flavor, perfect for coffee lovers looking for a chilly treat. Feel free to customize it by adding chocolate shavings, caramel swirls, or your favorite mix-ins!
